Ultimate Smothered Chicken with Bacon

12 slices Wright® Brand Smoked Bacon
6 Tyson® Fresh Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts
1/4 teaspoon Seasoned Salt
2 cups Shredded Cheddar Cheese
1 can (4 oz.) Chopped Green Chilies, drained
2 Garlic Cloves, minced
  1. Preheat oven to 375°F. On the stovetop, fully cook bacon in a preheated skillet over medium heat. Transfer bacon to paper towels to drain. Reserve any residual bacon oil in the skillet.
  2. Season chicken breasts on both sides by tossing in a bowl with seasoned salt and minced garlic.
  3. In preheated skillet with reserved bacon oil, brown each of the chicken breasts on both sides over medium-high heat, cooking chicken about three-fourths of the way through.
  4. Place chicken on an oven-safe tray and top with chopped green chilis followed by shredded cheddar cheese.
  5. Bake uncovered for about 10 to 15 minutes, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.
  6. Lay 2 slices of cooked bacon over each chicken breast and return to the oven for an additional 2 minutes.
  7. Serve.
